On the third anniversary of her boyfriend Lu Ming’s passing, heroine Lin Wan returns to the old courtyard where they once had their first date in autumn. The autumn wind blows the last ginkgo leaf off the tree, and she accidentally finds a voice recorder hidden in the trunk left by Lu Ming before his death. It turns out that three years ago, Lu Ming deliberately distanced himself from Lin Wan to help her realize her study abroad dream, and eventually died in a work accident. Lin Wan always thought she was abandoned, but the truth at this moment breaks her down in tears. The rustle of falling autumn leaves becomes the only comfort making up for years of silent regret.
