Restorer Lin Wan finds a Tang Dynasty silver mirror with a mysterious star map in an ancient temple warehouse. To her astonishment, the mirror shows her recurring dream—under the glowing moon and stars, a man in black robes holds an astrolabe. Meanwhile, astrophotographer Gu Zhao arrives to capture the once-in-a-century "Moon-Star Conjunction". They meet during a dispute over the mirror at an auction, but as they trace the clues, they uncover a past life secret: they were a royal mirror-maker and an astrologer in their previous lives, separated by imperial power for their forbidden love. The mirror was their token of promising to "admire the moon and stars together". When the "Moon-Star Conjunction" night comes in this life, can they break the chains of their past and let the autumn moon and stellar glow shine on each other again?
