A modern urban girl accidentally travels back to 1997, right when her parents are about to wed. Having watched her mother’s years of grievances, she blames her “good-for-nothing” father for ruining her mom’s life, so she plans to stop the marriage to rewrite her mother’s fate. But in the 1990s’ old days, she spots clues from her dad: a diamond watch hidden in his old briefcase, occasional business terms he uses… It turns out her father is a top tycoon in disguise—he pretended to be mediocre to protect his family. This sudden twist disrupts her plan, and makes her re-understand her parents’ love and the “marriage” she once rejected.
