Lin Chuan, a poor young man working at "Fuxing Pavilion"—an antique shop on the old street—accidentally fuses with a fragment of the ancient "Treasure Appraisal Mirror" and gains a "traceability ability"—touching any item allows him to recall its centuries-long history. Once mocked by the snobbish fellow dealer Zhou Ming as "unable to tell real antiques from fakes", he unexpectedly picks up a Southern Song official kiln bowl for 50 yuan at a night market and exposes a fake Yuan Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain at an auction, saving wealthy businessman Mr. Shen. But when he uses his ability to investigate his grandfather's disappearance ten years ago—linked to a batch of stolen imperial artifacts—the smuggling ring behind Zhou Ming targets him, wanting to seize his power and destroy Fuxing Pavilion! Determined to protect his grandfather's shop and uncover the truth, Lin Chuan uses his ability to fight against the villains, kicking off a thrilling battle between the "treasure-picking underdog" and the smuggling empire.
