It turns out a mysterious organization called "Tingchao Pavilion" is hiding in the city, frantically collecting Southern Melody instruments to awaken a thousand-year-old dark power—and Lin Chuan is the reincarnation of the inheritor who sealed that power. As his long-time crush, emergency doctor Su Xiaoyu, gets dragged into danger and his past-life memories awaken, Lin Chuan decides to wield the Southern Melody as a blade, vowing to break the cycle of fate and guard the warmth of human life in the midnight hours.
