Ordinary young man Ahao wakes up to discover he's possessed by the divine spirit of Nezha, gaining immense mystical powers. Intending to live a low-key life hiding in a rural village on the edge of the city to evade capture, he struggles to conceal his abilities. When the village faces a deadly plague and attacks by mysterious beasts, Ahao is forced to intervene, rescuing the villagers and unintentionally becoming hailed as a 'savior.' Amidst conflict, he grapples with an inner turmoil: torn between the desire for a mundane existence and the pull of responsibility and trust. As his powers spiral out of control and a sinister plot emerges, he must decide whether to uncover the truth behind the possession and save the village through fiery trials, all while confronting the burning question: why did Nezha choose him?
