To investigate the secret report that local officials exploited people in the name of "protecting the Dragon's Eyes", Emperor Xiao Jingheng of the Dayan Dynasty disguised himself as a scholar and went incognito to the south of the Yangtze River. Upon arriving at Qinghe County, he uncovered the county magistrate's collusion with a salt merchant—embezzling disaster relief funds and killing an old farmer who filed a complaint! Worse, he was mistaken for an "accomplice" by Su Wanzhao, a chivalrous woman who dared to storm the county yamen to appeal, forcing him to flee together. While evading assassins sent by corrupt officials, enduring Su Wanzhao's taunts like "You're a weak scholar who can't even tie a chicken!", he secretly gathered evidence. When Xiao Jingheng pulled out the imperial edict, Su Wanzhao gaped: "You... you're the emperor?!" And those rats and snakes who thought they could run amok by "blinding the Dragon's Eyes" were about to face the thunderous punishment of the emperor's fury!
