Lin Chuan, a down-and-out corporate drone, was just going through the motions until an injured ancient fox demon named Bai Su took refuge in his body—she’s icy, proud, and wildly powerful, but needs Lin Chuan’s rare “pure yin constitution” to heal. Overnight, Lin Chuan’s life does a 180: when his boss exploits him, Bai Su hijacks his body to fire back; when his ex mocks him, she turns him into a charismatic heartthrob; even when gangsters corner him, her magic saves the day. But as they grow closer, Lin Chuan uncovers Bai Su’s secret—she’s hunting a spirit pearl that opens the demon realm, and it’s tied to his dead mother. Caught between their budding romance and the looming demon crisis, can Lin Chuan hold onto this cross-species bond while turning his life around?
