Down-and-out chef Lin Chuan is fired for offending the hotel owner. In despair, he activates the "Ultimate Chef System"—a power that can replicate lost recipes, perceive the soul of ingredients, and even restore taste! To regain his dignity, he starts with a night market stall and shocks the food industry with a dish of "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall," only to attract revenge from a star hotel's head chef. His ex-girlfriend shows up with her rich new boyfriend to humiliate him, but he uses the system to recreate "Mom's Braised Pork," making her break down in tears. At this moment, the cold food critic Su Xiao appears—she doubts his "cheating methods" but secretly helps him defuse crises... As Lin Chuan gets closer to becoming the "National Chef God," the system's true command surfaces—it never wanted fame or fortune, but to make him retrieve his original intention of "cooking a hot meal for a loved one" when he first learned to cook?
