Su Muye is known as a "kept man"—a stay-at-home husband who cooks and cares for his wife Lin Wan and their daughter. For five years, he endures his mother-in-law's mockery and Lin Wan's growing distance due to work stress. Until one day, Lin Wan's company is suddenly crushed by a mysterious force, and their daughter is kidnapped. At that moment, Su Muye drops his disguise: he is the legendary "Battle Lord" of the hidden Xuanmen sect, who gave up his powers to save the fatally injured Lin Wan years ago. To protect his family, he returns—defeating kidnappers in three moves, reverse-acquiring the rival company, and even making top forces beg for peace. When his mother-in-law trembles holding his Xuanmen token, and Lin Wan tears up watching his back, this "useless" househusband finally reveals his hidden glory.
