Lin Chuan, a recently fired office worker, stumbles upon an ancient jade pendant at a flea market—inside seals the residual soul of Tai Xuan Tian Zun, a top ancestor from the cultivation world. The ancestor intends to seize Lin's body to resurrect, but instead is counter-absorbed by Lin's "Ancestor Plunder System"—gaining all the ancestor's cultivation and memories, plus the ability to "plunder" other ancestors' legacies via missions! From then on, Lin uses cultivation techniques to solve urban supernatural incidents (like his ex-boss's evil spirit pet, a tycoon's feng shui scheme) while fighting cultivators who want to reclaim the legacy. He starts an action-packed journey to "plunder all ancestors and become the strongest protagonist"!
