Su Wan, the exiled daughter of the Su family, disguises herself as an ordinary office worker to investigate her father's mysterious death—linked to an aviation project. A flight dispute gets her on the bad side of Gu Tingchuan, a gruff pilot who calls her a "spoiled princess." Three days later, Gu blocks her at her company, shoving a downtown apartment key into her hand: "Marry me. My grandma wants to meet her granddaughter-in-law." Su almost refuses, but when she sees the "pregnancy report" (fake, for Gu's grandma's dying wish), she realizes being a "pilot's wife" is the perfect cover to dig into her father's case. They sign a contract with hidden agendas, but Gu's rough tenderness—fixing her father's old laptop all night, shielding her from debt collectors—softens Su's resolve. Gu, too, forgets it's a deal as he falls for Su's stubborn strength. Until Su uncovers a link between her father's death and Gu's company. She confronts him with evidence: "Did you know what I was investigating?" Gu slams her against the wall, eyes burning: "I did. But I married you—not for the deal. I really want to protect you."
