Chinese designer Lin Xiao living in Fusang returns to her ancestral hometown Ningbo to fulfill her late grandfather's final wish, carrying a yellowed old photo of her young grandfather standing beside a cheongsam-clad woman under the rising sun. During her journey, she meets Chen Yang, a young man guarding a century-old family mansion.
