Lin Xiaoman is a bullied, soft-spoken "doormat"—no one knows her late grandfather was a hermit martial artist who left her a tattered book, *Instinctive Kung Fu: Quick Reference*, saying, "Flip a page when in danger." When the school forces her to enter a martial arts competition to graduate, Xiaoman panics and flips the book—only to automatically master a move with each page!
