Documentarian Lin Xi returns to her remote mountain village to film folklore, only to find it haunted by a chilling legend: during full moons, blood-red handprints manifest on the ancient village tree, driving those who touch them mad with visions of a century-old jilted bride. When she investigates, the village chief blocks her path, and the sole witness goes mysteriously mute.
