Mysterious Python in the Wild Mountains

Veteran forest ranger Old Chen takes his new intern Lin Xiaoxia on a patrol, when they receive a villager's report of a man-eating mysterious python in the deep mountains. The pair only find giant snake sloughs and torn animal carcasses but no trace of the python. That night, Lin spots a dark shadow darting past, but Old Chen only sees her panicking when she wakes him. The next day, they discover poaching traps with trackers, realizing the "mysterious python" is a hoax by a poaching gang to scare villagers and seize rare medicinal herbs in the mountains. Just then, the poachers are closing in quietly.
