Forest ranger Lin Ye finds a swaddled baby in the ruins of an abandoned mountain village. He takes the infant back to his guard post for temporary care, but strange things start happening: eerie baby cries echo at midnight, and surveillance footage shows a red-cloaked ghost floating next to the empty crib. Villagers tell him about a premature baby that went missing during a bandit massacre a decade ago, plus a red-wrapped dead infant spotted in the woods years later. As Lin investigates, he makes a shocking discovery: his long-lost sister is linked to this old case, and a vengeful ghost baby is closing in with lingering resentment.
