Ordinary high school student Lin Mo accidentally awakens extraordinary abilities: his shadow can not only see the weak points (health bars) of monstrosities but also teleport through shadows. When mutant monstrosities break the seal and attack the city, his childhood sweetheart becomes a prey. Lin Mo is forced to show his cards. He hunts monstrosities in the shadows, fights against survival crises, and uncovers the behind-the-scenes conspiracy of the monstrous attacks. From a timid teenager, he evolves into a city guardian, rewriting his fate against the odds with the shadow’s power to stage an inspirational counterattack.
