With oxygen dwindling and systems failing, the six crew members descend into madness. The captain sees his long-dead fiancée drifting through corridors, while the biologist finds deep-sea specimens growing human faces. A colossal shadow spirals around the vessel on sonar as scratching claws echo through the hull. When the ship's medic discovers the first crew member's grotesquely contorted corpse, they realize the true terror isn't lurking in the abyss outside—it's the psychological demons awakened by the echoing whispers of the deep.
