Unemployed white-collar Su Xiaoyu just got fired from her company when she’s forced to take over her father Su Jianguo’s dying “old stuff” shop—what’s even more崩溃 (devastating) is that her dad claims he can “see antiques glowing”! It turns out Su Jianguo has a secret “Antique Aura System” that lets him distinguish real from fake and know an antique’s history. Thus begins their chaotic adventure on the antique street: exposing a黑心 merchant selling fake jade, scoring a Song Dynasty tea bowl for a steal, and Dad almost breaking a Ming Dynasty vase (thinking it’s a piggy bank) while Xiaoyu chases him with a broom… Gu Mingyuan, the icy antique appraiser, goes from “these two are scammers” to a “hidden helper” who secretly covers for them, his growing fondness for Xiaoyu impossible to hide. But as their business booms, the secret of why Dad suddenly quit the antique circle years ago starts to unravel…
