Ye Chu, a reclusive divine doctor, descends the mountain to fulfill his master's last wish. By chance, he saves Su Wantang, the disgraced daughter of the Su family who was framed by her fiancé, leading to her family's bankruptcy and desperation. To repay the favor, Su invites Ye to stay, but this provokes her fiancé to escalate his malice—framing Ye for “killing a noble with medicine” to destroy them both. Ye proves his innocence with his miraculous医术 and even uncovers the fiancé's plot to embezzle the Su family's assets. As they overcome difficulties together, affection grows between them. What was supposed to be a “mission-driven” trip down the mountain turns into a splendid union that “heals each other's lives.”
