Office drone Lin Xiaoman is suddenly bound to a "Life Countdown System" while staying up late revising a proposal—she’s told she has only 7 days left to live and must complete 10 "anti-office-drone" absurd tasks to extend her life: help the cold CEO Gu Jingshen find his lost childhood doll "Xiaotang", get the community stray cat "Bawanghua" neutered, tell a stranger on the subway "Your socks are super cute today"... The more ridiculous the tasks, the more she uncovers the softness beneath Gu Jingshen’s indifference. Hidden in the system’s hints are vague warnings: "Don’t repeat the same mistakes." When the final task points to "retrieve the painting dream you gave up three years ago," Lin Xiaoman realizes with a start: this "self-saving" is actually the cruelest yet sweetest redemption from her future self to the present her.
