Audio designer Su Wan rents an old town studio to create the healing 'Good Night City' sound project, troubled by wall noise. She discovers her neighbor Lu Shiyan's noise reduction technique solves her creative bottleneck, unaware he's the technical director of the competing project. Interacting through sound across the wall, they grow from testing and teasing each other to being touched by their voices and hearts.
