Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, is suddenly bound by the "Time Promise System" while burning the midnight oil at work—she must travel back a decade to fulfill her high school promise to campus heartthrob Lu Jingshen: "Let's watch the sea together in ten years," or she'll be trapped in an endless loop forever. To her shock, the cold and distant Lu Jingshen from back then had already filled his notebook with her name; even more unexpectedly, her past self has to juggle the system's "retro tasks" (like delivering milk tea in flared pants and fending off suitors for Lu) while helping him navigate a family crisis. When the "office drone's counterattack script" collides with the "bittersweet past of mutual unrequited love," is this old promise in time a test from the system, or a second chance at love from fate?
