A decade of devotion only to be a replacement? Gentle yet resilient Lin Wan is imprisoned deep within a Buddhist temple by her revered uncle-in-law Gu Yanhan—known as the 'Earthly Buddha'. By day he is a saintly monk; by night, the architect of her gilded cage, shackling her throughout her pregnancy. When her mind shatters, moonlit pages of a blood-stained diary reveal the truth: her identical twin sister, his long-deceased muse. Behind Gu's obsessive cruelty lies a secret darker than being a mere substitute. As madness tears through pious facades, this sacrificial ritual baptized in love begs the question—who is the real offering?
