Ten years ago, a grassroots football team was forced to disband after a controversial match that should have been lost, leaving Lin Chen, a former member, working as an ordinary delivery man with deep regret. Ten years later, Lin Chen accidentally reunites with Zhang Lei, a former teammate who has fallen due to injury and is regarded as a "useless guy". They pick up their old dream to form a team and compete in the Village Super League.
