When evidence from a decade-old massacre – bloodstained prayer beads – resurfaces in the temple, the newly appointed Imperial Censor arrives to investigate. As Xuanmin reveals scarred wrists beneath scripture scrolls, the censor's sword presses against his throat: "Saint or butcher?" Amidst swirling incense smoke, the kasaya stained with ancient blood silently falls from the altar.
