Lin Xiaoman lost her memory in a car accident, and her boyfriend Chen Mo’s gentle care became her only anchor. But as she pieced together fragmented memories, she found another identical set of pajamas in the wardrobe—the strawberry embroidery on the collar was a style she’d never chosen before the accident. Even more terrifying, a woman who looked almost exactly like her appeared on the surveillance, wearing her lost silver bracelet, striding into the house unhesitatingly. Chen Mo’s evasiveness, the torn old photos in the drawer, and the anonymous text that arrived promptly at 11 p.m. every night saying “You took my place” all push her toward a可怕 truth: the “self” she’s desperate to retrieve might have never been “her” at all.
