Lin Xia, the heir to a decades-old alleyway dessert shop, rigidly adheres to her family's traditional summer dessert recipes, rejecting any innovations. That changes when rebellious head chef Gu Zhiwei returns home to track down a lost childhood treat, bursting into her shop with creative cold dishes. Clashing over their differing culinary philosophies, they bicker constantly, but gradually uncover each other's hidden emotions while testing new recipes and sharing late-night desserts. When they finally recreate the long-lost osmanthus ice cheese from ten years ago, they also resolve the old regret that once separated them, turning the flavors of this summer into their exclusive sweet love story.
