Thirty-five-year-old office worker Chen Ming just got laid off. His family hit rock bottom when his daughter was diagnosed with a rare disease requiring pricey specialized medicine. His wife, working three part-time jobs to make ends meet, keeps lashing out at him for being useless. Grieving and stressed, Chen Ming flees to the riverside to fish to decompress, and his casual fishing clips go viral overnight. He not only earns enough from live streaming to cover his daughter’s medical bills but also uses his expert angling skills to help local fishermen fix a mysterious fish swarm issue. Finally, he redeems himself, wins back his wife’s respect, and balances his new hobby with taking good care of his family.
