Rookie policewoman Yue Yue takes over the three-year-old "88th Gold Heist"—five robbers looted a jewelry store and vanished, with only suspect Zhang Hanwen escaping alive but getting away due to lack of evidence. To lure him out, Yue Yue disguises as a jewelry tycoon's daughter to approach Zhang, only to find he's been searching for his brother's murder truth—his brother was killed for investigating the heist's link to a police high-ranking official's money laundering ring. From confrontation to teamwork, they evade the mastermind's pursuit while unraveling the mysteries behind "the 88th": missing gold, tampered files, and the doubts about Yue Yue's father's death... When the truth nears, they realize the most dangerous enemy is hiding in Yue Yue's "safe zone."
