Unemployed Lin Xia decides to help her boastful childhood friend Zhao Lei save face by pretending to be the restaurant owner at a banquet. However, she is publicly humiliated by a picky customer for being "unprofessional and fake". To cover for Zhao Lei, Lin Xia pays the bill with gritted teeth. But right after she turns around, Zhao Lei rushes out from the back kitchen, sweating nervously—it turns out the restaurant is not his at all; he's just helping his relative look after it temporarily and lied about owning it, fearing that Lin Xia would expose his lie if a deal was really struck.
