Lin Zhao, the legitimate son of a general's family, was wiped out by the emperor who fell for slander. To avenge his family, he hid his identity and disguised himself as a eunuch to enter the palace, walking on thin ice in the treacherous harem—evading the chief eunuch's constant tests while secretly gathering evidence of the emperor's crimes. By chance, he saved Su Wan, a maid framed by others, and they formed an alliance. However, they unexpectedly discovered that the truth of his family's extermination hid a bigger conspiracy of a powerful minister's rebellion. When Lin Zhao finally became the palm-print eunuch with real power over the harem, would he choose to kill the emperor, his enemy, or uncover the secret that could topple the court?
