Lin Xiaoman, a fresh medical graduate, gives up a big-city hospital offer to become a rural doctor in Taohua Village, only to face a dilapidated clinic and villagers who trust a "witch" over science. She cures Granny Wang's chronic back pain with acupuncture and a kid's eczema with wormwood ointment, but clashes with Chen Mo—the village chief's son who calls her a "naive girl"—until he begs her to treat his bee-stung face, swollen like a bun. Just as she gains trust and plans to expand the clinic, an anonymous threat arrives: "If you keep meddling, you'll never leave Taohua Village." What secrets lie beneath this young doctor's rural practice?
