Young lovers Gu Yanchen (played by Zhu Zhiling) and Shen Xinyao (played by Huang Yunyun) were once each other's only light. A well-crafted misunderstanding tore them apart: Shen moved overseas while Gu was trapped in place, bearing the stigma of the breakup.
