Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out designer, accidentally activates the AI "Inch of Heart System" left by her family. The system tasks her with collecting "Inches of Heart" to save the dying intangible cultural heritage, or the family craft will vanish forever. Navigating a mean AI butler and sabotage from business rivals, she forges a delicate bond with the proud, standoffish AI program itself. Gradually, she discovers "Inches of Heart" are not virtual data, but genuine connections: rivals' respect, friends' help, and her own devotion to the heritage. Yet the system's true goal hides a long-buried secret of her parents.
