A rare severe drought approaches, putting the village’s farmland on the verge of total failure and leaving residents anxious. Chen Yang, a returning youth, proposes greenhouse farming to cope with the drought, but faces strong opposition from conservative Village Chief Old Wang who sticks to traditional farming. Despite the pressure, Chen Yang launches a trial with his own greenhouse and successfully grows drought-tolerant, high-yield vegetables. He not only resolves the dry season crisis but also leads the whole village to prosperity, finally bridging the generational gap.
