Amid the war-torn wilderness, a heavy blizzard has blocked the mountains. An elderly woman takes her sick grandson to hide in a secret chamber storing ancestral emergency grain. The grandson is running a high fever and on the verge of dehydration, while outside, hungry refugees and soldiers keep clamoring at the door eyeing the grain. The old woman uses limited food to keep her grandson alive and holds the door tight to guard their only hope.
