Su Xiaotang, a fresh graduate, returns to her hometown to fulfill her grandmother's last wish, only to find her four uncles in their “life slumps”: Uncle 1, a laid-off chef, has cold stoves; Uncle 2, a failed entrepreneur, hides from debt collectors; Uncle 3, a programmer, hides in the toilet from marriage pressures; Uncle 4, an art student, has no customers for his pottery stall. The clever Xiaotang grabs her laptop and “causes trouble”—she sets up a live stream for Uncle 1’s home-cooked meals, helps Uncle 2 sell local farm produce online, matches Uncle 3 with an anime-loving girl, and turns Uncle 4’s pottery into “healing blind boxes.” Chaos ensues: Uncle 1 burns dishes on live stream, Uncle 2 cries over wrong deliveries, Uncle 3 shows up to his first date in an anime costume… But when the four uncles gradually “turn their lives around” and laughingly call Xiaotang “the family’s top stream,” Xiaotang realizes: It’s not her lifting the uncles up—it’s the uncles’ love that has long been holding her, leading her to the warmest home.
