Thirty-three years ago, Old Lin, a forest ranger, rescued little Ayou who was abducted in the mountains, promising "I will wait for you for thirty-three years until you can come to me". Adopted later, Ayou grew into a rising designer but was always troubled by the shadow of her background. Thirty-three years later, Ayou returned to the mountains for a public welfare project and unexpectedly met Old Lin, who was about to retire and had kept the promise. It turned out that Old Lin gave up the chance to be assigned back to the city for this promise and secretly investigated the clues of the abduction case. This reunion after half a lifetime of waiting is both a redemption and a fulfillment.
