Lin Xiaoxia, a modern office worker, accidentally discovers a time-space rift in the cellar of her old house. She steps in and travels to a primitive tribe, where the villagers take her as a goddess from heaven and force her to stay. She only wants to find the rift back to modern life quickly, but gets involved in the tribe's survival crisis of fighting wild beasts and seeking water.
