In the 1980s, a brutal snowstorm hits a small city in Northeast China. Old Qin, a shoemaker, finds an old aluminum lunchbox engraved with the character "Lin" in ankle-deep snow. Inside are a blood-stained diary and a yellowed one-way ticket to "Anshan", which uncovers the unfinished truth of a coal mine accident three years ago. The lunchbox belonged to Miner Master Lin who sacrificed himself saving others, entrusting the lunchbox with key evidence to Old Qin before dying. Master Lin’s long-lost daughter is hiding in the city. Old Qin must find her before the storm blocks roads—otherwise, justice will never be served, and the father and daughter will miss each other forever.
