"The Light Stitched in the Soles" tells the story of Lin Xiaoman, a craft shoemaker who picks up an old cloth shoe sole with strange lines. Inside is a malfunctioning AI chip, linked to Su Bai, a promising designer who disappeared mysteriously ten years ago. She turns to Chen Ye, a young tech blogger. As they disassemble the chip, they uncover Su Bai's secret: he used AI to design "the light under the feet" for the disabled to fulfill his late comrade's dream. Meanwhile, Xiaoman and Chen Ye find themselves and gain long-lost warmth in this exploration journey.
