Gu Yanchuan, a cold architect, falls into self-doubt after a project accident and hides in Puguang Temple in a southwest ancient town to escape reality. There, he meets Su Xiaonuan, a vibrant girl who brings her grandma for treatment and works part-time as the temple's new media operator. To promote the temple's "Warm Sun Charity", Su Xiaonuan forces Gu to help film a documentary. At first, he finds her noisy and dismisses the charity as a show—until he witnesses her sincerity in caring for left-behind children and repairing houses for the elderly, gradually letting his guard down. But when Gu's past is exposed, someone accuses the charity of being his "whitewashing tool". How will Su prove their genuine intentions? Can Gu regain his original passion for design under the Buddha's light and the warmth of the sun?
