Ayang, a moon spirit from the Buddha's side, descends to the mortal world to resolve her past-life karma by finding Gu Chengchen, a general banished for his mortal heart. But Gu has reincarnated as a cold guard protecting the Buddha's cave. When Ayang tries to take the Buddha's Moon Stone—the only hope to save her clan—Gu labels her a thief and draws his sword. Little do they know: Gu sacrificed his soul to protect Ayang in their past life, and now he has no memory. As Ayang's warmth melts Gu's coldness and past fragments resurface—will they defy fate to rekindle their love, or abide by the Moon Stone's precepts and forget each other forever?
