In a rural village where the air is scented with ripe melons, Lin Xia, a young returnee, returns home with a dream to empower agriculture through AI. However, her traditional-farming father strongly opposes her, claiming AI farming is “detached from the land”. Their conflict is resolved during a sudden pest crisis: Xia uses AI to quickly identify the problem and combines it with her father’s experience to save the entire melon field. The two reconcile, and AI finds its real place in the countryside.
