In a remote melon village, the traditional local melon variety is on the verge of extinction. Lin Mo, an agronomy graduate student, returns to his hometown with AI improvement technology but faces fierce opposition from conservatives led by his grandfather. The old man insists on traditional planting, believing AI ruins the melon field's soul, while Axiu, his childhood friend and local melon farmer, resents his experiments fearing they would damage the ancestral melon field. Under pressure, Lin Mo uses AI to analyze soil and climate, accidentally discovering the unique genetic code of the traditional melon. Finally, he combines traditional skills with AI to grow high-quality melons, resolving conflicts and bringing a new start to the village.
