Lin Xiaoman, a modern corporate slave, suddenly receives an 'ancient distress letter' from her best friend Su Xiaotang—who transmigrated into an unloved concubine in a marquis's mansion and is being forced by the main wife to embroider a hundred-butterfly tapestry, or else be sold off! Lin Xiaoman sends a box of markers via a courier box on a whim, and to her surprise, it actually arrives! Thus begins their hilarious 'modern-to-ancient supply' daily life: Su Xiaotang uses hair removal cream to break the 'concubines must keep long nails' rule, stuns the marquis's family feast with self-heating hot pot, and even fools the 'star-gazer' with a photo of modern night scenery from her phone; meanwhile, Lin Xiaoman accidentally solves her workplace involution by helping her bestie brainstorm. But just as they're redeeming each other, Su Xiaotang suddenly says: 'The young master of the marquis's mansion looks exactly like the senior you've had a crush on for three years...'
