In the cold winter city, Lin Mo, an old baker clinging to handcrafted wheat bread, is on the verge of bankruptcy due to poor management and is questioned as "stubborn and outdated". Mai Xiang, a rural girl coming to the city to raise medical fees for her mother, witnesses him arguing over a misunderstanding of wheat flour supply, but is moved by his persistence that "the scent of wheat is the original intention". They go from misunderstanding to teamwork: Mai Xiang brings the quality of new wheat from the countryside, and Lin Mo polishes the temperature of his century-old recipe. They not only revive the dying bakery, but also create a healing love across identities in the warm wheat scent, brewing unique romance for the bakery in the cold winter.
