Su Wan (played by Wang Xinying), a fallen rich daughter mocked by the business circle after her family’s bankruptcy, accidentally finds a mysterious manual filled with “trap rules”—*The Black Swan Temptation Manual*, whose cover bears the photo of Gu Jingshen (played by Wei Zixiang), the cold CEO who ruined her family. To avenge, she disguises herself as a clumsy assistant and infiltrates Gu’s company, using the manual’s “weakness strategy” and “coincidence design” to get close to Gu—unaware that he has long seen through her act and is using a “gentle trap” to turn the tables. When she thinks she’s about to uncover Gu’s crimes, they dig up their childhood bond: the boy who carried her out of a fire a decade ago was Gu, and the last page of the manual reads “To my dearest daughter”—signed by Su Wan’s mother who has been missing for five years? Before her revenge fire burns out, her heart races first. Is this “trap” her game, or has she already fallen into Gu’s gentle cage?
